Patio Season in The City Different

There's nothing quite like dining under New Mexico's big blue sky — and Santa Fe's patios are some of the best in the Southwest. A few of my favorites:

🌿 The Compound — Tucked along historic Canyon Road under old shade trees, this James Beard-recognized spot is pure romance. Perfect for anniversaries and special celebrations.

🌹 The Shed — Half a block from the Plaza, this colorful courtyard is a Santa Fe classic — blue corn enchiladas, red chile, and margaritas that don't miss.

🍽️ Santacafé — White tablecloths, twinkling lights, and a menu that blends modern American with local flavor. One of the most enchanting courtyards in town.

🌅 Coyote Cantina — Rooftop views over the Plaza with sunset light bouncing off the adobe. Southwestern flavors, great cocktails, unbeatable people-watching.

🌸 Luminaria — Nestled beside the Loretto Chapel, this patio is heated for cooler evenings and dreamy year-round.

🔥 The Patio at La Posada — Dine under the stars around cozy kiva fireplaces at this historic resort, and don't miss the "Juliarita" — their signature take on Santa Fe's favorite cocktail.

Whether you're new to town or a longtime local, these spots capture what makes Santa Fe living so special — great food, historic charm, and that unmistakable New Mexico light.

I'm a residential real estate broker here in Santa Fe representing both buyers and sellers. I became a broker after a 30+ year career in sales and marketing for upscale hotel brands and I've been able to transfer many of the skills and experiences in hospitality into working with my clients. My goal is always to provide "concierge" level service, anticipating the needs of my clients and going above and beyond their expectations to make their real estate experience as stress-free and comfortable as possible.
